The Beatitudes Movement is raising funds to provide 100 Blessing Bags to 100 women and men on the streets of Toronto.

Each Blessing Bag will include: socks, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, soap, face towel, tissues, pads/tampons (for the women), deodorant, lip balm, snacks, inspirational notes and other essentials!

Let's get together for this beautiful cause and enjoy an evening of incredible local art and live performances! Food, coffee, wine & beer will be available.

Join us for an amazing day and unique opportunity to come together and celebrate Indigenous music, traditions, culture, and food! There will also be inspiring speakers sharing their personal stories and experiences.

Donate Your Bras And Free The Girls!

The Beatitudes Movement presents: Donate Your Bras And Free The Girls!

On Saturday, February 4th from 3pm to 6pm at Jal Gua Organic Cafe, we'll be collecting new and gently used bras ( yes, BRAS! ) which will be given to Free The Girls: Fight Human Trafficking, an organization that supports women that have been rescued from sex trafficking. The bras are sent to Mozambique, Uganda, and El Salvador. The rescued women are then able to sell the bras, reintegrate back into society and become self sufficient. 

Amazing right? Yeah!! So why not get together for this beautiful cause, during an afternoon of incredible music, inspiring stories, and delicious food!

Gifts-In-Kind Collection For Homeless Women And Children!

The Beatitudes Movement is LAUNCHING! and what better way than to have a beautiful evening of giving to women and children in need! 

On Saturday, November 19th from 4pm to 8pm at Jal Gua Organic Cafe, we'll be collecting gifts-in-kind donations for homeless women and children during an amazing evening of live music with special guests!

Please bring any of the following items which will be distributed to a few women's shelters. 

New items only please, unless specified:

adult and baby shampoo / conditioner

toothpaste and toothbrushes

deodorant

adult and baby lotion

adult and baby body wash

lip balm

cosmetics, nail polish and nail polish remover

brushes and combs

hair elastics and scrunchies

tampons and pads

new or gently used clothing (adult and baby)

new or gently used shoes/boots

new socks, underwear, and bras

new winter jackets, mittens, gloves, scarves

gift cards (Wal Mart, Shoppers Drug Mart, No Frills, Chapters, gas cards, movies, etc)

TTC tokens 

new towels (face and bath sizes - white) 

new or gently used kid's toys 

diapers and baby wipes

art supplies, pens and pencils

baby food and formula

tylenol and advil

band aids

anything else you can think of :)

Monetary donations are also welcome and these will be split and donated directly to each shelter. 

Items and funds will be donated to these shelters:

- Red Door Family Shelter

- WINGS Maternity Home 

- 416 Community Support for Women

- YWCA Toronto

and more!
